Colonial Beach is a charming town located in Virginia, on the banks of the Potomac River. I recently visited and fell in love with the coziness of the town, the history of the area and it’s natural beauty. It’s a popular destination for tourists looking to relax and unwind in a peaceful environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Despite its small size, there are plenty of things to do in Colonial Beach. If you’re visiting to do things. When I went, it was for a solo writer’s retreat. It was also off season, one of my favorite times to go to the beach. My activities included daily walks on the waterfront, visiting the museum and other cute shops that were in walking distance of my Airbnb ad writing.
